Atlassian Accelerates AI and Cloud Growth... Polaris Office Expands Domestic AX Business
As Atlassian, the global collaboration software company, rapidly expands its artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud business, its official platinum partner, Polaris Office, is expected to accelerate the expansion of its enterprise AI Transformation (AX) business for Korean companies. This outlook is based on the simultaneous growth of Atlassian’s cloud revenue and AI platform usage, signaling increased domestic demand for AI-driven work innovation.
Atlassian announced that revenue for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026 reached $1.77 billion, surpassing market expectations. Notably, cloud revenue amounted to $1.21 billion, marking a 31% increase from the same period last year. Usage of its proprietary AI platform, Rovo, also surged by 50% quarter-over-quarter, demonstrating a rapid rise in demand for AI-based collaboration solutions.
Over the past 12 months, Atlassian’s total revenue reached $6.6 billion, a 26% increase year-over-year, with its global customer base exceeding 350,000. With over 85% of Fortune 500 companies as paying customers, the company is strengthening its presence in the enterprise cloud and AI markets through its flagship products, Jira and Confluence.
Polaris Office aims to leverage Atlassian’s growth to capture domestic corporate demand for AX. As an official platinum partner, it provides not only product supply but also implementation and consulting services. The company is expanding its business from traditional licensing to cloud migration, AI adoption, security, and implementation and operations.
In particular, Polaris Office plans to expand domestic distribution of “DX,” a platform that measures and manages AI development productivity. DX quantifies and analyzes changes in cost and development productivity resulting from the adoption of AI coding tools. By utilizing data accumulated during the development process, companies can track productivity changes before and after introducing AI tools, with the advantage that DX can be implemented without major system overhauls.
As more companies adopt AI tools, there is growing demand to objectively measure the return on investment. Using DX, Polaris Office will expand its business into the AI development productivity management market and help companies verify their actual productivity gains from AI adoption based on data.
The company also plans to strengthen solution offerings centered on Atlassian’s Rovo AI collaboration platform. By utilizing the "Teamwork Collection," which integrates Jira, Confluence, Rovo, and Loom, Polaris Office aims to reduce adoption barriers for enterprises and support the buildup of AI-based collaboration environments.
Rovo is a platform that provides not only search and conversation functions but also AI agent capabilities based on internal enterprise work data. It connects project management information, in-house knowledge, documents, and IT service data with AI, supporting work automation and productivity improvement.
The company will also expand business synergies with affiliate Polaris Cloud. Polaris Cloud, as a Microsoft Cloud Solution Partner (CSP), possesses implementation and operational capabilities in Azure, M365, and data and AI fields.
The two companies plan to expand cross-selling: providing additional Azure services to Polaris Office’s Atlassian customers, and offering Atlassian solutions to Polaris Cloud’s client base. This approach aims to go beyond simple license sales, expanding into consulting, implementation, AI agents, data analytics, and operations, thereby increasing revenue per customer and reinforcing the foundation for recurring B2B sales.
A Polaris Office representative commented, "We have already moved past the stage of simply adopting AI tools. Now is the time to demonstrate whether those investments are translating into real results. By combining Atlassian’s AI solutions such as DX with the group’s capabilities in cloud and AI, we will proactively target the domestic demand for AX transformation."
