The signing ceremony, held on August 10 at the Government Seoul Office in Jongno-gu, Seoul, was attended by Yoon Hojung, Minister of the Interior and Safety; Yoon Seokjun, Chief Brand Communications Officer at Woowa Brothers; and other key stakeholders.
Affordable price stores are designated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and local governments, and are recognized for maintaining reasonable prices, sanitary conditions, and friendly service. These stores receive incentives from each municipality, such as discounts on utility bills and material support.
This agreement aims to offer restaurant owners who have maintained their prices despite rising raw material costs the opportunity to increase sales, and to help alleviate the burden of high prices for consumers by offering discounts.
From August 17 to September 13, Baedal Minjok will provide 3,000-won discount coupons for use with delivery orders from affordable price stores on a first-come, first-served basis. Banners will also be displayed on the “Together Store” page in Baedal Minjok’s “Win-Win Center” to help users easily locate nearby affordable price stores.
