Samsung Electronics announced on the 10th that it has launched a 'paperless ticket' service in collaboration with Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL). Users can now register and use mobile tickets in Samsung Wallet instead of physical paper tickets.
With this service, when customers purchase tickets at offline counters in KORAIL stations using Samsung Wallet, a mobile ticket is automatically added to their Samsung Wallet.

View original imageKORAIL tickets issued through the integrated KORAIL+ app can also be immediately added to Samsung Wallet using the 'Add to Wallet' feature. SRT tickets can be added to Samsung Wallet starting from tickets reissued as KTX-Sancheon following the high-speed rail integration scheduled for the 1st of next month.
Samsung Electronics has also enabled customers to process ticket returns (refunds) for mobile tickets directly within Samsung Wallet for added convenience.
Passengers can receive advance notifications of train boarding schedules. Mobile tickets added to Samsung Wallet are linked with the calendar and Now Brief on Galaxy devices, allowing customers to receive reminders ahead of their train departure times.
