Exhibitions, Pop-Ups, and Fan Events Across Seokchon Lake, Lotte World Mall, and AvenueL from August 14 to 23
Diverse Content Ranging from 'Bang Bong' Light Show to 20-Year Archive Exhibition and Limited-Edition Merchandise
Lotte Department Store is partnering with YG Entertainment to launch a large-scale project celebrating the 20th anniversary of BIGBANG's debut.
Lotte Department Store announced on the 10th that from the 14th to the 23rd, for 10 days, it will present a variety of content such as exhibitions, F&B, fan participation events, and merchandise across Seokchon Lake, Lotte World Mall, and the entire AvenueL area.
At Seokchon Lake, nighttime lighting inspired by the official BIGBANG lightstick, the 'Bang Bong,' will be featured. In particular, at 8:19 PM on August 19, a special light show will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the group's debut, and a 'Bang Bong Crown' sculpture about 5 meters tall will be installed on the lakeside stage.
At Lotte World Mall, a bakery pop-up themed for BIGBANG's 20th anniversary will be held. Brands such as ‘What a Bread’, ‘Drunken Dough’, and ‘No Bad Vibes’ will participate, introducing limited-edition products, and about 40 restaurants in the mall will provide special 20th anniversary commemorative napkins.
There will also be a fan participation event titled 'BIGBANG TO COSMOS'. On the fifth-floor bridge connecting AvenueL and Lotte World Mall, a media art installation will feature supportive messages from the official fan club, 'VIP'.
