Hanwha General Insurance Secures 6-Month Exclusive Rights for "Precocious Puberty Test Coverage"
On August 10, Hanwha General Insurance announced that its coverage for "Support for Examination Expenses for Precocious Puberty and Related Diagnoses" has received recognition for its originality and usefulness from the General Insurance Association of Korea, obtaining a six-month exclusive usage right.
This coverage guarantees benefits once per year for insureds who undergo tests classified as reimbursable for the diagnosis of precocious puberty and related conditions.
In addition, Hanwha General Insurance has newly launched the "Hanwha Health Boost Children's Insurance," which allows customers to enroll in this special rider. The product includes new coverage options to support healthy child development, such as examination expenses for precocious puberty, treatment expenses for pediatric growth hormone deficiency, support for Bailey Infant Development Test fees, treatment fees for supernumerary tooth extraction, and diagnostic fees for hearing loss (excluding age-related hearing impairment), among others.
The company also added pre-care services to proactively support children's healthy growth. Customers can choose one of five free tests: growth factor test, allergy test, oral bacterial analysis, gut microbiome test, or AI-based drawing development assessment.
