"LG at MLB Dodgers' Home Stadium"...LG Electronics Installs LED Board
Three-Year Strategic Partnership with the LA Dodgers
Expanded into Community Contribution Programs
LG Electronics is expanding its business-to-business (B2B) scope by providing large-scale commercial display solutions to the Los Angeles Dodgers, one of the most popular Major League Baseball (MLB) teams in the United States.
According to the industry on August 9, LG Electronics recently installed a direct-view LED ribbon board approximately 235 meters in length at Dodger Stadium, the home of the LA Dodgers.
This long, belt-shaped display board features high brightness (luminance per unit area), making it highly visible even outdoors. It offers high resolution suitable for sports arenas, ensuring that live game broadcasts can be clearly viewed.
Tailored for the unique environment of a baseball stadium, where there is a risk of flying balls, it has been built to be highly resistant to external impacts.
Along with this latest supply, LG Electronics has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with the LA Dodgers by collaborating with ANC, the stadium operations and advertising agency, and will act as a marketing partner starting this month.
During the three-year contract period, LG Electronics plans to expand its customer touchpoints through various programs, including branding within the stadium and digital/social media-linked content during LA Dodgers home games, including postseason matches. The collaboration will also be extended to community programs benefiting residents of Southern California.
LG Electronics is already operating display solutions at other venues, such as the home stadium of the MLB Boston Red Sox and the home stadium of the Baltimore Ravens, a prominent team in the National Football League (NFL).
Lon Rosen, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the LA Dodgers, stated, "LG Electronics’ display technology is enhancing the experience at Dodger Stadium, which is visited by millions of fans every season."
