Man in His 60s Arrested on the Spot for Killing Acquaintance in Heat of Argument
A man in his 60s was apprehended by police after fatally stabbing an acquaintance following a verbal altercation.
On August 9, Nowon Police Station in Seoul announced that a man in his 60s, identified as Mr. A, had been urgently arrested on suspicion of murder.
According to police, at around 10:40 p.m. the previous day, Mr. A allegedly got into an argument with a man he had known for several years at a location in Gongneung-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, and stabbed him to death with a weapon.
Responding to a call from a witness, the police arrived at the scene and apprehended Mr. A in the act.
The victim was transported to a hospital but ultimately died.
