Bloomberg, citing sources, stated that SK hynix is discussing various options regarding the Chongqing plant with advisory firms. If the stake sale goes through, the value could reach 3 billion dollars (approximately 4 trillion won).
The sources added that, as these discussions are still in the early stages, they may not lead to an actual transaction.
Potential buyers reportedly include Chinese funds and local semiconductor companies. There is also a possibility that SK hynix could retain a minority stake.
