Hwasun County to Launch Stay-Type Tourism Linked to Dolmen Festival...Fan Signing Event and Stamp Tour Planned
Expanding Visitor Routes from the Festival Venue to Downtown and the Traditional Market
Hwasun County will actively promote a new program to boost stay-type tourism, aimed at extending tourist stays and expanding local commercial consumption, taking advantage of the upcoming "2026 Hwasun Dolmen Autumn Flower Festival" to be held this October.
The main program of this year's festival is a fan signing event featuring popular trot singers participating in the performances.
The fan signing event is scheduled to take place in Hwasun-eup after the performance. It is expected to invigorate the local business district by encouraging festival visitors to visit local restaurants, cafes, and retail shops in the town.
During the festival, a stamp tour program linking the Hwasun Dolmen Traditional Market and the park golf course will also be operated.
Visitors who complete missions at the festival grounds and major tourist sites will receive free admission to the park golf course. Those who complete the mission at the traditional market will be eligible for souvenirs and discounts at participating shops in the market.
The county plans to use these programs to expand the foundation for stay-type tourism, which goes beyond simply attending the festival and encourages visits to tourist attractions, traditional markets, and boosts local consumption.
Additionally, Hwasun County will seek to organically connect the Hwasun Dolmen World Heritage Site, autumn flower landscapes, traditional markets, and community cultural spaces. The goal is to increase the length of tourist stays and foster a tourism model that spreads spending throughout the local area.
