He added, "Not only the competition system but all elements that make up the game were redesigned from scratch."
He particularly emphasized, "We focused on addressing the issue where excessive competition distorts the fun in MMORPGs and makes players feel burdened by competition," and continued, "The core values that run through the game are the highest graphic quality, overwhelming convenience, and strengthened competitive enjoyment for all, which we established as our development vision."
The game is set in a world fractured by the arrogance of Zeus, the chief god of Olympus in Greek mythology. Utilizing Unreal Engine 5, the game achieves a high level of graphical polish. Sung-hoon Jeong, director overseeing game development at Aiburton, commented, "We embraced familiarity by using Greek mythology—a theme everyone knows but which hasn't been thoroughly addressed in games—while also providing a new interpretation."
In terms of convenience, an 'AI Mode' was introduced. AI Mode refers to an automated system where a character hunts and helps other guild members on a set schedule even when the user exits the game. Automatic play resumes after server maintenance. Director Jeong explained, "We aimed to reduce the burden on users stemming from prolonged logins and repetitive hunting," and continued, "Repetitive play has been simplified to a one-button system, while cooperative and field content remains manual."
Key content was also revealed. Highlights include the season-based competition system 'Odyssey,' 'Arcadia Siege' where multiple guilds compete for strongholds, and "Colosseum," a player-versus-player (PvP) feature utilizing the user's avatar called "Persona." A total of eight classes were showcased, including an economics-specialized class called "Artisan." The development team announced that all in-game content will be cyclically varied and that new classes and fields will be introduced every four months.
The Artisan is one of the components of the game's internal economic system, tasked with supplying exclusive crafted items to the market. Additional features include the 'Interverse Integrated Exchange,' where three servers are grouped together to reduce economic disparities, and 'Midas's Vault,' a system in which equipment with low usage is bought back by the system and a portion of the currency is returned to the user.
The business model (BM) is also focused on minimizing user burden. Junghoon Kim, Head of Business at Com2us, said, "Every component of paid packages can also be acquired with in-game currency earned through gameplay, and weapons, armor, and skills cannot be obtained solely by spending money." He added, "The monthly membership is priced at 9,900 won." Regarding so-called "workshops," which use multiple accounts for the purpose of cashing out in-game currency, he said, "We will respond by imposing growth hurdles, requiring identity verification for exchange use, and monitoring for anomalies in real time using AI-based systems and 24-hour surveillance."
At the showcase for the multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) "Zeus: God of Pride," held on the 7th at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square in Jongno-gu, Seoul, a making-of video of the character "Pandora," modeled after actress Park Jihyun, was released. Photo by Kyungjo Noh

Park Jihyun introduced the character through three key concepts: first encounter, doppelganger, and transformation, saying, "Pandora is a character whose emotions and choices evolve as she goes through various events. I thought deeply about her mindset in each scene while acting, and I hope players can feel that in the game." She also noted her intention to try and reserve the character name 'Park Jihyun' as a player.
