POSCO Holdings Sells Part of Stakes in POSCO International and DX to Secure 2.48 Trillion Won for Investment
On August 7, POSCO Holdings announced that it would secure a total investment fund of 2.4817 trillion won by selling a portion of its stakes in POSCO International and POSCO DX.
As a result of this sale, the company’s stake in POSCO International will decrease from 70.71% to 50%, and its stake in POSCO DX will decrease from 65.38% to 50%. However, POSCO Holdings will retain its position as the largest shareholder in both companies.
The company explained that the purpose of this stake disposal is to secure strategic investment funds aimed at eliminating the holding company discount and enhancing corporate value.
The planned disposal date for the POSCO International shares is September 7. The disposal unit price was determined based on the closing price of 55,400 won per share on the day prior to the board resolution.

Once this transaction is completed, POSCO Holdings' stake in POSCO International will decline from 70.71% (123,966,358 shares) to 50% (87,961,395 shares), while still maintaining its status as the largest shareholder.
