Distributor Plus M Entertainment announced on August 7 that director Na Hong-jin's film "HOPE" has been invited to the Midnight Madness section at the 51st Toronto International Film Festival. This section is dedicated to showcasing innovative genre films with intense concepts and striking visuals. The festival will be held from September 10 to September 20.
"HOPE" was previously invited to the Competition section at the Cannes Film Festival, where it had its world premiere. It was also selected as a Centerpiece screening at the New York Asian Film Festival, marking its North American premiere. The film is set to be released in North America on September 9.

"HOPE" follows the story of Bumseok, the head of the Hopho Port branch in the Demilitarized Zone, who learns that a tiger has appeared in his village and confronts an unbelievable reality. The film stars Hwang Jungmin, Zo Insung, Jung Hoyeon, Taylor Russell, Cameron Britton, Alicia Vikander, and Michael Fassbender.
