GH Ranks 'Excellent' for Second Consecutive Year in Local Public Enterprise Management Evaluation
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation (GH) ranked fourth among 15 city development corporations nationwide in the '2026 Local Public Enterprise Management Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, earning a 'Level B' rating. GH has achieved an excellent rating for the second consecutive year, following last year, and has been recognized for its competitiveness in public housing supply and management innovation.
In this year’s evaluation, GH received high marks for expanding the supply of public housing in the third phase new towns, driving innovation in housing policy with equity accumulation-type housing sales, pursuing digital management innovation by utilizing AI, BIM, and drones, and realizing resident-centered spatial welfare initiatives.
In particular, GH was highly evaluated for introducing equity accumulation-type housing sales as a new model to lessen housing burdens for the homeless and for the stable implementation of major policy projects such as the third-phase new towns.
Additionally, by integrating advanced technologies such as AI, BIM, and drones into its operations, GH improved efficiency and advanced the dissemination of spatial welfare models such as 'Space Welfare Home' and 'Gyeonggi Unity', simultaneously reinforcing both public benefit and innovation.
GH’s close collaboration with Gyeonggi Province to proactively address local issues and implement key policy projects was also cited as a background for this excellent evaluation.
