Product Development and Employment Support for Youth Preparing for Self-Sufficiency
On August 7, CJ OnStyle announced the launch of "ON:DO," an integrated brand for shared growth and social contribution, which supports the growth of small and medium-sized partner companies as well as the economic independence of young people preparing for self-sufficiency.
"ON:DO," which means "CJ OnStyle raises the temperature of coexistence," is an integrated brand that expands and reorganizes "YESGO," the shared growth program operated since 2022, to include social contribution efforts.
CJ OnStyle plans to consolidate its previously individual initiatives under "ON:DO," and further embrace merchant partnerships and support for youth preparing for independence by leveraging its commerce competencies, such as product planning, content production, and mobile live commerce.
Following the launch of "ON:DO," CJ OnStyle will strengthen support for partner companies tailored to various growth stages, from business financing and product development to sales channel expansion and global expansion. To this end, the company will operate a 60 billion won mutual growth fund in partnership with IBK Industrial Bank of Korea, supporting stable financial management and business expansion for its partners.
CJ OnStyle is also introducing a new group-buying commerce project called "Gachi Market" to increase the brand awareness and consumer touchpoints of small and medium-sized brands. It is an ESG project that combines joint purchasing by SME brands and creators with eco-friendly packaging and donation campaigns.
The flagship social contribution program, "Youth CEO Rookies ON," offers MD and PD mentoring to help young people preparing for self-sufficiency gain hands-on experience in all stages of business—from product development and branding to content production and launching mobile live commerce.
The beauty brand "Ongredients" will support the product manufacturing value chain, and participate in the Gyeonggi Social Economy Institute’s "Social and Environmental Problem-Solving Support Project," working with the cooperative "Good Sneezers" to provide young people with independence training. Additionally, there are plans to open a "Gachi Market" store through the social enterprise "Value Nuri," which will provide youth with practical job experience.
