Sunic System Selected for the Third Phase of the MOTIE 'Super Eul Company' Initiative
Sunic System has been selected for the third phase of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy's 'Super Eul Company' initiative.
According to Sunic System on August 7, the Super Eul Company program is a flagship national research and development project aimed at nurturing key materials, parts, and equipment companies that will lead the global supply chain by securing world-class technologies. Selected companies are supported with large-scale R&D projects for more than seven years. Through this project, Sunic System plans to develop an artificial intelligence (AI)-based smart organic light-emitting diode (OLED) deposition platform.
The goal of the project is to go beyond simple automation of existing deposition equipment by implementing an AI-based autonomous operation system that can analyze process data in real time, predict equipment status, and optimize the process independently. The company aims to build the world’s first AI-based OLED deposition platform by integrating AI analytics capabilities, key sensors, Edge AI technology, and an integrated operation platform into a single system.
This platform is being developed as a universal AI infrastructure applicable not only to specific products but also to a wide range of deposition equipment, such as large-scale IT OLEDs, OLEDoS, and perovskite solar cells. The company expects that this initiative will further strengthen its foundation for collaboration with various global display manufacturers in the future.
