Two former managers of broadcast personality Narae Park, accused of demanding money and misappropriating company funds, have been brought to trial.

View original imageThe Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office announced on August 6 that former manager A was indicted and detained on charges of joint blackmail, embezzlement in the course of work, and computer fraud. Another former manager, B, was indicted without detention on a charge of joint blackmail.
According to the prosecution, in December 2025, individuals including A filed a complaint against Park for workplace harassment and assault, then threatened to expose that "Park used company funds for personal purposes," and allegedly demanded 10% of the company's 2024 revenue. A is also accused of embezzling 44 million won from Park’s company funds.

On the day after the complaint was filed, as well as on the 20th of the same month, Park’s representatives filed two separate reports with the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul against the former managers, accusing them of attempted blackmail and embezzlement.
