BNK Kyongnam Bank to Hold “Family Culture Kyongafe Baseball Viewing Event”

BNK Kyongnam Bank, representing the region, is organizing a baseball viewing event for kindergarten and elementary school children and their families.
BNK Kyongnam Bank will hold the “BNK Kyongnam Bank Family Culture Festival (35th BNK Kyongnam Bank Art Competition, hereinafter referred to as Kyongafe) Baseball Viewing Event” at Changwon NC Park on August 12, 2026.
The eligible participants are kindergarten and elementary school children and their families who applied in advance for the “Art Competition and Baseball Viewing Participation” via the BNK Kyongnam Bank mobile banking app.
Artworks (paintings) created in accordance with the theme “Our Family’s Summer Story” must be submitted at the “Kyongafe Artwork Submission Booth” set up near GATE1 at Changwon NC Park between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the day of the event.
Kindergarten and elementary school children who submit their artwork will be provided with NC Dinos tickets according to the number of family members who applied in advance, so that they can watch the game together with their families.
At the event venue on August 12, various experience booths including balloon art and photo booths, BNK Kyongnam Bank Moving Bank providing financial services, BNK Kyongnam Bank cooling bus to beat the heat, cooling zones, and shaded resting zones will be operated.
Additionally, starting at 3:30 p.m., there will be kids’ DJing, a bubble show, a seafood magic performance by magician Youngjin Kim, and a lucky draw for generous prizes such as Nintendo Switch 2, Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, Samsung Circulator, NC Dinos uniforms, Samsung Kids Headphones, and Blaupunkt cooling hand fans. There is also a chance to win autographed baseballs from NC Dinos players.
After the Kyongafe event ends, children and families who received NC Dinos viewing tickets will be able to watch the NC Dinos versus KT Wiz baseball game held at Changwon NC Park.
Myunghoon Lee, Head of the Social Contribution and Public Relations Department, said, “A total of approximately 6,300 people are expected to participate in the Kyongafe and baseball viewing event on August 12, including children and family members who applied in advance, children from high-risk depopulation areas in Gyeongnam, as well as BNK Kyongnam Bank executives, employees, and their families. To ensure the success of the region’s largest family culture and arts event, we have prepared a variety of side events and prize drawings. As high temperatures are expected on the day of Kyongafe, we encourage participating children and families to bring water, hats, and parasols.”
For reference, if the NC Dinos and KT Wiz game is canceled on the day of the Kyongafe event due to extreme heat or rain, it will be postponed according to the KBO schedule, and the artworks created should be submitted to the bank branch where the paper was collected by August 21, 2026. (Further notice will be provided depending on circumstances.)
For kindergarten and elementary school children who registered in advance to participate in the “Art Competition Only,” they must submit their completed themed artwork to the designated bank branch where they collected the paper between August 13, 2026, 9:00 a.m. and August 21, 2026, 4:00 p.m., without any schedule changes.
Meanwhile, BNK Kyongnam Bank will select 1,619 awardees among the Kyongafe participants to present the BNK Kyongnam Bank President’s Award, Gyeongsangnam-do Governor’s Award, Superintendant of Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education Award, Superintendent of Ulsan Office of Education Award, and the Gyeongnam Mecenat Association President’s Award, among others.
Among the prizewinners, one overall grand prize winner will receive a scholarship of 1 million won, nine grand prize winners will each receive 500,000 won, ten top excellence award winners will each receive 300,000 won, totaling up to 14 million won in scholarships. The list of winners will be released in September 2026 through the BNK Kyongnam Bank website, YouTube channel, Instagram, etc., following the review process by the judging committee in accordance with the regulations of the newly organized BNK Kyongnam Bank Art Competition Operating Committee. Subsequently, the awards ceremony and exhibition will be held separately.
