[Photo] Boeing B777 Model Converted into a Freighter
On August 6, at the IKCS freighter conversion facility located within the Incheon Airport Advanced Aviation Industry Complex in Yeongjong-gu, Incheon, work is underway to convert a Boeing B777 model into a cargo aircraft. Incheon International Airport plans to use the full-scale operation of this conversion facility as an opportunity to establish itself as a hub encompassing the high value-added MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) industry, and to drive the entry of domestic aviation parts companies into the global supply chain, as well as to boost the local economy.
