Kim Eunha Appointed as New President of Gugak Broadcasting
Kim Eunha, Head of Broadcasting at Gugak Broadcasting, has been appointed as the new president of Gugak Broadcasting.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that Minister Choi Huieong, as of August 6, has appointed Kim Eunha as the new president of Gugak Broadcasting and presented her with the letter of appointment. The term of office for President Kim is three years.

View original imagePresident Kim is a graduate of Ewha Womans University's Department of Korean Traditional Music and its graduate program. Since joining Gugak Broadcasting in 2000, she has built her expertise and experience in the field of Korean traditional music and broadcasting through various positions, including the Radio Production Department, Gwangju Gugak Broadcasting, and the Auditing Department.
She contributed to the stable management of the organization while serving as the Head of Broadcasting and as acting president at Gugak Broadcasting, and has also been dedicated to nurturing the next generation as an adjunct professor in the Department of Korean Music at Seoul Institute of the Arts.
Founded in 2001, Gugak Broadcasting operates its main office in Seoul and regional stations in Gwangju and Daejeon. The broadcaster also pursues a variety of projects to popularize Korean traditional music and promote the Gugak cultural industry through its programs.
