S Energy to Supply 6MW Solar Modules to Incheon Namdong Industrial Complex... Participates in Industrial RE100 Project
On August 6, S Energy Co., Ltd. (095910) announced that it will participate in the renewable energy power infrastructure project at Namdong National Industrial Complex in Incheon and supply a total of 6 megawatts (MW) of high-efficiency solar modules.
This project is overseen by the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation and managed by Incheon Technopark. It aims to build renewable energy power infrastructure with a total scale of 9.3MW, comprising 7.5MW from the private sector and 1.8MW from the public sector. S Energy Co., Ltd. is scheduled to supply solar modules with a capacity of 6,000 kilowatts (6MW) by December 31.
The supplied modules will be installed on the roofs, idle land, and parking lots of both private and public factories within Namdong National Industrial Complex, through the participating companies JH Energy and Wonkwang SNT.
This project is being promoted to help companies in the industrial complex implement RE100 and achieve carbon neutrality by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. S Energy Co., Ltd. plans to serve as a core renewable energy supplier for the industrial complex by providing high-efficiency solar modules suitable for installation on factory roofs and parking lot environments.
With this contract, the company has further expanded its track record of supplying large-scale solar modules to industrial complexes. Based on this, it expects to enhance its competitiveness in winning similar large-scale projects in the future.
In addition to S Energy Co., Ltd., specialist companies in each field are participating in the project. The completed power infrastructure will be operated based on a special purpose company (SPC), and generation performance will be continuously managed by integrating with the carbon-neutral integrated platform and control system.
