Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Mobility Museum to Host "Night Car Meet"... "Midsummer Night Car Culture Festival"
6:00–8:00 p.m. on August 8
Mobility Museum Rotunda, Yongin, Gyeonggi Province
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Mobility Museum announced on August 6 that it will host a “Night Car Meet” on August 8, offering visitors the chance to enjoy automotive culture on a midsummer night.
The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in front of the Mobility Museum exhibition hall in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. A Car Meet is a cultural event where automobile enthusiasts display their vehicles and socialize with each other. Visitors can view a variety of cars and experience the charm of car culture.
This year’s event will feature participation from various car clubs and individual enthusiasts, including “20th Century 4WD,” “W140 Café,” “S2000 KOREA,” “Daewoo Automobile Preservation Research Center,” “OUTOFSERVICE,” and “TEAM TDL.” A wide range of vehicles—including rare old cars, classic cars, and uniquely tuned models—will be on display, providing an engaging and diverse viewing experience.
Notably, this Night Car Meet will be held in conjunction with the “Motor Festival” taking place at the nearby Speedway. On the day of the event, a free shuttle bus will run between the Speedway and the Mobility Museum, offering convenience to visitors at both venues. This allows attendees to enjoy both motorsports action and the night car exhibition, enabling them to experience a multifaceted car culture.
A Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Mobility Museum official stated, “This Night Car Meet has been organized not only for car club members who love automobiles, but also for families visiting the museum during summer vacation, so everyone can enjoy the event together.” The official added, “Going forward, we plan to continue offering diverse programs that allow people to experience the value of automotive culture and mobility in a more approachable way.”
