LS Electric Accelerates Global Expansion with Mass Production and Shipment of Next-Generation ESS Power Conversion System 'G2'
Produced at the World's First 100% DC Factory
Enhanced Efficiency and Durability with Liquid Cooling System
LS Electric has officially entered mass production of its next-generation Power Conversion System (PCS) ‘G2’ for Energy Storage Systems (ESS), aiming to solidify its leadership in the global market.
On August 5, LS Electric announced that it held the ‘First Shipment Ceremony of PCS G2 for Next-Generation ESS’ at its DC Factory in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, attended by Chairman Koo Ja-kyun and other executives, as well as related personnel. On this day, Chairman Koo Ja-kyun closely inspected the dedicated G2 production line, thoroughly reviewing future shipment plans and quality management practices.

Let’s secure leadership in the DC era by achieving flawless product quality and lead the global ESS market.”
The newly launched G2 is a next-generation PCS developed specifically for overseas markets. With outstanding operational efficiency and space utilization, it is considered essential equipment for implementing ‘integrated battery ESS’ solutions. Notably, the adoption of a liquid cooling system has significantly enhanced both heat control and durability compared to air-cooled systems. Its compact design ensures stable power operation even in space-constrained environments.
The 'Cheonan DC Factory,' the primary production site of this product, is the world’s first factory to adopt a 100% DC power distribution system. LS Electric’s state-of-the-art DC-exclusive equipment, including Semiconductor Transformers (SST) and Semiconductor Circuit Breakers (SSCB), are heavily utilized throughout the facility, reducing power loss during AC-to-DC conversion and improving the factory’s overall energy efficiency by more than 10%.
