C-lab in Talks for Partnership with Global Fluid Company Watson-Marlow to Strengthen AIDC Cooling Infrastructure
AI infrastructure software company C-lab announced on August 5 that it has entered into discussions with global fluid management solutions company Watson-Marlow to strengthen its AI data capabilities.
According to C-lab, Watson-Marlow management, including Jackie Chan, Director for Asia-Pacific, recently visited C-lab’s headquarters. Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions is an affiliate of Spirax Group, a UK FTSE 100 company, and has provided fluid transfer and control solutions to the life sciences and process industries.
As the power density per rack increases in AI Data Centers (AIDC), the cooling system is evolving into a structure that is integrated with servers and power in a unified design. Cooling solutions and precision fluid control technology, together with GPU clusters, are emerging as key infrastructure elements of AIDCs.
C-lab currently manages all layers of AIDC, ranging from building GPU systems based on the latest NVIDIA architecture to supplying the operating software Astra. In this meeting, the two companies discussed ways to collaborate by combining C-lab’s expertise in AIDC construction and operations with Watson-Marlow’s cooling and fluid infrastructure technology, targeting the AI data center market in the Asia region.
