Samsung Securities Successfully Hosts 'KSS IR Day' IR Event for Leading K-Content Companies
Participation of 13 Leading Beauty and Entertainment Companies in K-Culture
Samsung Securities announced on August 5 that it successfully held the 'KSS IR Day (Korea SME's & Startup Scaleup IR Day)' on July 24 at the Samsung Financial Campus, located in Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul. The event targeted promising beauty and entertainment companies that are leading the K-Culture wave.
At the event, Donghee Jung, an analyst at Samsung Securities, shared the industry's mid- to long-term growth outlook with the theme "Brands Beyond Channels, Distributors Dominating Channels."
Afterward, 13 promising K-beauty companies, both listed and unlisted, introduced their technology and growth strategies. The participating companies included LNC Bio, FICC, Almond&Co, Prinker Korea, P&K Skin Clinical Research Center, Lilycover, BioBijou, Jetema, AtHome, AmazeVR, Fruitful, Kiss International, and Channel Swan. In particular, each company's CEO and IR officer took the stage to present directly.
The event drew more than 200 participants, including corporate venture capital firms (CVCs), venture capital (VC) firms, private equity (PE) funds, asset management companies, and general corporations, who preregistered through Samsung Securities.
Seonmi Oh, Executive Director in charge of SNI/Platform Strategy at Samsung Securities, stated, "Every month, we select a market theme that draws attention from investors and carefully screen companies that fit the theme." She emphasized, "This efficient structure enables companies to present directly to prepared investors, while investors can promptly and accurately receive meticulously curated corporate information."
Later this month, on August 28, Samsung Securities plans to hold an IR session themed "K-Momentum," focusing on shipbuilding, defense, nuclear power, and mobility.

Meanwhile, since it was launched in August 2021, Samsung Securities' KSS IR Day has been held by selecting specific industry themes. The events are conducted both online and offline, and as of the end of July, there are approximately 4,400 registered members.
