LS Eco Energy achieved its highest-ever performance for the first half of the year, driven by expanded exports of high value-added products such as ultra-high voltage cables and bus ducts for the European market. Fueled by global expansion of power grids and surging demand for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers, the company is on the verge of surpassing 1 trillion won in annual revenue for the first time since its founding.
On August 5, LS Eco Energy announced that its consolidated revenue for the first half of 2026 reached 635.8 billion won, with operating profit totaling 45.4 billion won. This amounts to approximately 66% of last year’s full-year revenue of 960.1 billion won achieved in just half a year. Compared to the same period last year, revenue grew by 32.8% and operating profit by 16.5%, marking the company’s best-ever half-year results.
This strong performance was driven by the supply of ultra-high voltage power cables—focused on the European market—and high-profit products such as bus ducts, a large-capacity power distribution system. Accelerated global investment in power infrastructure, a shift to renewable energy, and a rapid increase in the establishment of AI data centers served as major growth catalysts.
In particular, sales of bus ducts surged nearly threefold compared to the same period last year, fueled by a wave of hyperscale data center construction by global big tech companies and the building of skyscrapers in Southeast Asia regions, including Malaysia and Indonesia.
Having recently completed pre-qualification (PQ) testing for 400 kV ultra-high voltage cables, LS Eco Energy plans to further strengthen its entry into premium power markets in Europe, North America, and other regions. The company is also accelerating the acquisition of new growth engines, such as establishing a mass production system for rare earth metals in partnership with Australian rare earth producer Lynas.
