Exchange to List 18 Additional Stock Futures and 2 Stock Options
The Korea Exchange will add stock futures and stock options for trading on the 14th.
According to the exchange on August 4, 18 stocks have been selected as underlying equities for stock futures based on the selection criteria, reflecting the rebalancing of the market benchmark indices in June this year. These include DB HiTek, HD Construction Equipment, OCI, DALBA GLOBAL, BHI, Seojin System, Sungho Electronics, SPG, and others. Ten stocks that were removed from the benchmark indices will be excluded as underlying equities for stock futures.
For stock options, two stocks with high market demand—Hyosung Heavy Industries and Hyundai Autoever—will be newly listed. The selection was made by considering market capitalization, trading value, and market opinion among the underlying equities of stock futures.
