Chairman Kim Taekwon of Jungwoon Ensis Buys 100,000 Shares, Expresses Confidence in AI Infrastructure Transition
Jungwoon Ensis Co., Ltd. (045510) announced on the 4th that Chairman of the Board Kim Taekwon has purchased 100,000 shares of the company through on-market transactions, signaling his commitment to responsible management and his confidence in enhancing corporate value.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service’s Electronic Disclosure System, Chairman Kim acquired 100,000 new company shares via on-market purchases. This acquisition is separate from the company’s ongoing share buyback program, as the chairman personally injected funds to increase his stake.
In the market, this increase in shares is interpreted as a signal demonstrating the management’s confidence in the company’s long-term growth potential and corporate value. Notably, it is seen as an example of responsible management in action as the company is undergoing a portfolio shift focused on AI infrastructure.
Jungwoon Ensis Co., Ltd. maintains annual sales of over 200 billion won and has recorded an operating profit surplus for three consecutive years, continuing to build a stable performance base. The company also expects to deliver solid results in the first half of this year, driven by increased demand for IT infrastructure.
Recently, Jungwoon Ensis Co., Ltd. signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with AI specialist AINation and with Dayton, a company specializing in data center and energy management systems (EMS). Through this, the company plans to expand its integrated AI infrastructure business, encompassing AI data center (AIDC) construction and operation, AI software, and EMS.
The industry believes that Jungwoon Ensis Co., Ltd. can secure new growth drivers in the AI infrastructure market by combining its existing IT infrastructure experience and nationwide sales network with AI platform technology and data center operation capabilities.
The company is also continuously strengthening its shareholder return policy. Previously, Jungwoon Ensis Co., Ltd. announced plans to acquire and then cancel company shares worth 1 billion won, and is currently proceeding with the buyback. With Chairman Kim’s on-market purchase added, the company is seen as simultaneously demonstrating its commitment to enhancing shareholder value and to responsible management.
The securities industry reports that with the simultaneous implementation of share acquisition and cancellation, as well as the largest management stakeholder increasing their equity, expectations for a corporate value re-rating are rising. If the business shift toward AI data centers gains full momentum, market interest in the company’s long-term growth prospects is expected to increase further.
