Samsung Card Launches "Monimo Pay Card" Offering Up to 15% Discount
50% Discount on Digital Content and Memberships
2- to 3-Month Interest-Free Installments at Domestic Online Merchants
Samsung Card announced on August 4 that it has launched the "Monimo Pay Card," which provides various payment benefits when using Monimo Pay.
Monimo Pay is a simple payment service offered on the Monimo application. Recently, a Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) feature has been introduced to further enhance its usability at offline merchants.
The Monimo Pay Card is a specialized card for customers who frequently use Monimo Pay. After registering the card on Monimo Pay and making payments through the platform, users will receive a basic 10% discount. If users log into the Monimo app every day from the 1st to the last day of the preceding month, the discount rate increases to 15%. The maximum monthly discount is 30,000 won.
Reflecting the rising trend of the subscription economy and online video streaming services (OTT), the card also offers a 50% discount of up to 10,000 won per month on digital content and memberships.
To ease the burden for customers who frequently shop online, the card includes 2- to 3-month interest-free installment benefits at domestic online merchants.
The annual fee for the Monimo Pay Card is 15,000 won for both domestic-only and international (Visa) versions.
