The recruitment areas cover key advanced space businesses of Hanwha Systems, including synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellites, space artificial intelligence (AI) data centers, low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications, solar cells for satellites, and satellite service operations, sales, and strategy. Work locations, depending on the specific field, will be at the Seoul Business Site, Pangyo Research Center, and Jeju Space Center.
Candidates must have at least five years of relevant work experience, with periods spent earning a master's or doctoral degree at universities in Korea or abroad also counting toward this requirement.
Applications can be submitted via the dedicated microsite for space talent recruitment. Document submissions have been accepted since July 31, 2026.
Hanwha Systems also plans to actively promote the recruitment campaign both online and offline to attract outstanding talents.
Previously, Dong Kwan Kim, Vice Chairman of Hanwha Group, unveiled a mid- to long-term strategy for an "AI-powered Space Powerhouse," involving a total investment of 55 trillion won, at the "Yeongnam Region Advanced Industry Development Vision National Briefing" held at Gyeongsang National University in Jinju, Gyeongnam on July 3, 2026. Hanwha Systems plans to invest approximately 20 trillion won in the space sector, particularly in the deployment of very low Earth orbit SAR satellites, space AI data centers, and low Earth orbit satellite communication networks.
