First, the two companies will consider supplying NICE Info Service’s main offerings, such as corporate information and identity verification services, through “COOCON.net.” Through this collaboration, COOCON aims to strengthen its internal data and information service portfolio, while NICE Info Service expects to expand its sales channels. COOCON.net is the nation’s largest application programming interface (API) store, connecting data from over 500 domestic institutions and 2,000 institutions in more than 40 countries worldwide through more than 300 APIs.
Additionally, the two companies plan to pursue new data-driven businesses by combining COOCON’s financial and non-financial data collection and connectivity capabilities with NICE Info Service’s credit evaluation modeling.
The scope of overseas business cooperation will also be expanded. COOCON will leverage its global data collection and connectivity expertise to support NICE Info Service in securing and connecting with local data needed for its overseas credit information (CB) business. Through these efforts, both companies aim to identify new business opportunities.
CEO Kim Jonghyun said, “This agreement will serve as an opportunity to further enhance the competitiveness of information services on COOCON.net. Together with NICE Info Service, we will concretize new data products and business models, and achieve tangible results in the global data business as well.”
