Renault Korea Sells 3,030 Units in July... First Phylante Exports to Latin America
Sales Down 58.2% Year-on-Year
Renault Korea announced on August 3 that it sold 1,704 vehicles in the domestic market and exported 1,326 units in July, achieving a total sales figure of 3,030 units. Compared to the same month last year, domestic sales declined by 57.4% and exports by 59.2%.
In the domestic market, 728 units of the Grand Koleos, 537 units of the Phylante, and 439 units of the Arkana were sold. Since its launch in March, cumulative domestic sales of the Phylante have surpassed 10,000 units.
Hybrid models accounted for 1,219 units of the domestic sales, making up 71.5% of the total domestic sales volume.
For exports, Renault Korea shipped 486 units of the Arkana, 254 units of the Grand Koleos (exported as the New Koleos), 220 units of the Phylante, and 366 units of the Polestar 4.
Due to the Middle East war, shipping to the region was not possible and vessel procurement was also challenging. Renault Korea focused its response by exporting 847 units to Latin America, including the first export batch of 220 units of the Phylante.
