Saemaul Geumgo to Hire 149 New Employees in Second-Half Open Recruitment
Recruitment at 109 Saemaul Geumgo Branches Nationwide
The National Credit Union Federation of Korea announced on August 3 that it will conduct open recruitment for new employees in the second half of the year.
A total of 149 new hires will be recruited across 109 Saemaul Geumgo branches nationwide. Applications will be accepted until August 10.
The recruitment process consists of document screening, written tests, and interviews in that order. The written examination will be held on August 29 at test sites across the country and will evaluate applicants’ capabilities through a personality test and the National Competency Standards (NCS) basic vocational skills assessment. The final list of successful candidates is expected to be announced next month.
Interviews will be conducted at the Saemaul Geumgo branch to which the applicant has applied. The interview will comprehensively assess the candidate’s potential, passion, and suitability for the job, with at least one external interviewer participating.
To ensure fairness and objectivity in recruitment, Saemaul Geumgo will require all interviewers to submit a pledge and confirmation stating that they have no special relationship, such as being related by blood or marriage, with any of the applicants.
Those who are not successful in the final interview will be automatically registered in the ‘new employee talent pool.’ Until the first half of 2027 and prior to the next open recruitment, if hiring occurs at Saemaul Geumgo branches near the applicant’s desired region, additional interview opportunities may be offered.
