Eastar Jet Announces Public Recruitment for New Cabin Crew Members
Eastar Jet announced on August 3 that it will conduct public recruitment for cabin crew members.
This hiring round is a proactive recruitment in line with the introduction of new aircraft and the expansion of flight routes, and around 30 people will be hired.
The selection process consists of: ▲ document screening ▲ situational response interview ▲ physical fitness test ▲ executive interview ▲ hiring medical examination. In the situational response interview, candidates are presented with hypothetical scenarios to evaluate their problem-solving approach and flexible mindset. The physical fitness test will assess basic physical condition necessary for in-flight emergencies through long-distance running, back muscle strength measurement, and decibel measurement, among others.
Applicants majoring in nursing or holding relevant certifications can receive additional points, and those with strong foreign language skills, such as Japanese or Chinese, will be given preference.
Applications can be submitted from 10 a.m. on August 3 to August 9 through the Eastar Jet recruitment website. Successful candidates will be hired as intern flight attendants in October. Further details, including eligibility requirements, are also available on the website.
Since March of last year, Eastar Jet has been the only domestic airline to conduct a physical fitness test that includes decibel measurement and a situational response interview.
