Lotte Insurance Launches Health Insurance with Lower Premiums Based on Chronic Disease History
Lotte Insurance announced on August 3 that it has launched the "let:simple Easy Screening High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, and Dyslipidemia 3-6-10 Health Insurance" product, designed for customers eligible for easy screening who have no history of the three major chronic diseases: high blood pressure, diabetes, or dyslipidemia.
This insurance product features more detailed subscription criteria by adding chronic disease disclosure items to the existing "3-6-10 Health Insurance." Customers can enroll if they meet the existing health disclosure conditions and have no history of two or more diseases among high blood pressure, diabetes, or dyslipidemia.
Customers with no history of all three chronic diseases can benefit from premiums up to 17% lower than the existing product. Even customers with a history of one disease among the three can receive coverage at a lower premium than the original offering.
Furthermore, by choosing the "Maturity Renewal Type" product, premium burdens are reduced even further. For example, for a 50-year-old male (Class 1 accident risk), premiums for coverage up to age 80 are up to 31% cheaper than premiums for coverage until age 100. Upon maturity, if the customer expresses the intention to renew, coverage can be extended up to age 100.
