Throughout the event, around 150,000 visitors enjoyed performances by renowned rock bands from Korea and abroad. Additionally, an employee from a participating vendor was also transported to the hospital due to a heat-related illness and received treatment.
The Pentaport Rock Festival, hosted by Incheon Metropolitan City, marked its 21st edition this year as a flagship domestic rock music event. Under the slogan "RE:BOOT," this year’s festival featured 66 teams from around the world, including legendary British trip hop group Massive Attack, American alternative rock icons PIXIES, globally popular Khruangbin, as well as domestic acts such as Hyukoh and Lee Seungyoon. In addition to performances, the festival included interactive programs where visitors could directly participate and enjoy themselves, elevating the excitement on site. A large "Cool Zone" offered a place for attendees to escape the heat, where radio broadcasts were run so people could continue to enjoy the festival during breaks between performances.
