SKT Expands Smart Device Lineup for Runners...Introducing Garmin and Shokz Products
Participation as Main Sponsor of “Infinite Challenge Run in Gyeongju”
SK Telecom announced on August 2, 2026, that it will expand its lineup of smart devices favored by runners and offer opportunities to participate in running events.
SK Telecom is introducing new products from the global GPS smart device brand Garmin and the global open-ear earphone brand Shokz, making it easier for customers to purchase wearable devices.
SK Telecom will present Garmin’s running GPS smartwatches, the “Forerunner 70” and the “Forerunner 265.” Notably, the “Forerunner 70” will be exclusively available among domestic mobile carriers through SK Telecom’s exclusive partnership with Garmin.
The Forerunner 70 is an entry-level model suitable for customers who are new to running or wish to record everyday workouts, while the Forerunner 265 targets those seeking more advanced running data and training features.
Shokz’s bone conduction earphone, the “OpenRun Pro2,” will also be launched. The OpenRun Pro2 improves upon the bass limitations typical of bone conduction earphones.
Garmin smartwatches and Shokz earphones will be among the eligible devices for the “Smart Device Installment Discount” benefits offered to customers on “Best Max,” “Best Pro,” “Best 109,” and “Direct5G 76” plans. The newly introduced Garmin and Shokz products can be purchased through the T Direct Shop website or at SK Telecom retail stores nationwide.
