Hwasoon County Strengthens Safety Inspections at Five Water Play Hotspots to Prevent Accidents

Hwasoon County has launched on-site safety inspections of water play management areas as the peak summer vacation season begins, aiming to prevent summer safety accidents.
On July 31, Hwasoon County announced that, under the supervision of Deputy Governor Lee Hobum, an inspection was conducted on July 29 at five water play management areas in the region: Mankyeongdae in Dongbok-myeon, Bonghwangdae in Sapyeong-myeon, Dongga-ri in Hancheon-myeon, Betulbawi in Chunyang-myeon, and Guimiddeul in Cheongpung-myeon, to assess the status of their safety management.
The inspection focused on several key areas: the work status of safety management personnel, the availability of safety equipment such as life rings and life jackets, the condition of safety facilities, control of dangerous zones, and the operation of emergency contact systems.

During the summer water play safety management period, Hwasoon County plans to station safety management personnel at each managed area on a constant basis. In addition, working in cooperation with the drone search team from the Hwasoon County Volunteer Fire Brigade, the county will strengthen aerial drone monitoring, proactively remove hazards, and promote safety guidelines.
