All-Night Reading and Walking Through Eight Cities... Ananti Cove Hosts 'Late Night Bookstore' Event
Book Talk with Kim Ji-yoon and Jeon Eun-hwan
Enjoy Reading Until Dawn
The later the night grows, the quieter the bookshelf becomes. While the city sleeps with its lights off, readers open their books and writers share their travel stories.
A unique humanities journey, where participants walk through eight cities around the world in a single night with just one book, is taking place in Busan. Ananti Cove in Gijang County, Busan, has launched the ‘Late Night Bookstore’ event featuring authors Kim Ji-yoon and Jeon Eun-hwan. It is a midsummer night’s trip, filled with books and the humanities together with readers.
On the 30th, Ananti Cove announced that the ‘Late Night Bookstore’ will be held at Eternal Journey, starting at 10:00 p.m. on July 31 and running until 6:00 a.m. the following day, with political scientist Kim Ji-yoon and author Jeon Eun-hwan as special guests.
This book talk centers on their jointly published humanities travelogue, “The Cities We Loved.” Setting the stage in eight cities worldwide—including Florence, Kyoto, Washington, D.C., and Amsterdam—they will discuss stories of history, art, and gastronomy, as well as share behind-the-scenes episodes that were not included in the book.
After the event, there will be a Q&A session and a book signing. Participants can enjoy free reading while sipping tea at the Eternal Journey bookshelf until 6:00 a.m. the next day.
