T-Robotics Acquires Employee Stock Ownership Shares Worth 4 Billion Won
T-Robotics has completed the acquisition of company shares worth approximately 4 billion won through its employee stock ownership association.
According to T-Robotics on the 30th, the acquisition by the employee stock ownership association was carried out based on confidence in the company's mid- to long-term growth potential, with an acquisition volume totaling 333,000 shares. In accordance with relevant laws, the acquired shares will be subject to mandatory deposit with Korea Securities Finance Corporation for a period of one to three years. The company intends to expand employee participation in enhancing corporate value and to establish a foundation for the company and its members to share the achievements of growth together.
T-Robotics will also gradually implement shareholder return policies, including dividends, based on future earnings improvement and financial structure stabilization. Additionally, the company explained that it is open to the possibility of additional share acquisitions by the largest shareholder and related parties as part of strengthening responsible management.
The company is also accelerating efforts to secure future growth engines focused on humanoids, semiconductors, and the North American market. Following its participation in 'KAIROS', a physical AI-based dark factory integration platform demonstrative project led by KAIST, the company is also taking part in a demonstrative project for the unmanned operation of radioactive waste disposal facilities. Through these projects, it is expanding into the industrial automation market utilizing humanoids.
T-Robotics is also strengthening its competitiveness in the glass substrate sector, which is gaining attention as a core technology in the next-generation semiconductor market. The company has developed Korea's first vacuum transfer robot dedicated to glass substrates.
In the North American market as well, T-Robotics continues to achieve results. This year, the company signed a supply contract with Ford Energy for AMRs for energy storage system (ESS) production facilities. In addition, T-Robotics is expanding its supply of robots for semiconductor and advanced manufacturing processes based on cooperation with major clients, including global semiconductor equipment manufacturers.
