Huino and Yuhan Corporation Introduce 'Memo Q' at Seongnam Central Hospital...Expanding Market Share in General Hospitals
Huino and Yuhan Corporation are working to expand the market share of the smart artificial intelligence (AI) telemetry solution 'Memo Q' in general hospitals.
According to Huino on July 30, the company will supply the Memo Q solution to Seongnam Central Hospital, a general hospital located in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. Seongnam Central Hospital is the first general hospital in the Seongnam area and serves as a key regional medical institution, providing essential medical services in areas such as internal medicine, surgery, and neurosurgery to local residents.
Seongnam Central Hospital, particularly in its internal medicine department, treats patients with cardiovascular diseases including hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, arrhythmia, and hyperlipidemia. By fully implementing the Memo Q solution, the hospital expects to be able to monitor ECG changes and abnormal signs such as arrhythmias in high-risk inpatients in real time, and to enhance its patient safety management system by enabling medical staff to respond more quickly to changes in patient conditions.
Memo Q is a smart AI telemetry solution that continuously monitors real-time biosignals such as ECG in hospitalized patients and detects abnormal signs at an early stage. The solution reduces the burden on patients by using the ultra-compact wearable ECG device 'MEMO Patch M', and its proprietary AI analysis algorithm minimizes 'false alarms' caused by misidentifying noise as arrhythmias. This enables medical professionals to more efficiently check for and respond to changes in patient status. Additionally, reimbursement under the 'Remote Electrocardiographic Monitoring Technology (EX871)' benefit code is available, and it can be prescribed in conjunction with the existing Holter monitoring code, supporting healthcare institutions in stably operating real-time monitoring systems.
