"Okay Madam 2" to Premiere in Busan with Local Citizens
Korean Film Council and Copyright Commission to Hold Screening Event on August 12
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korean Film Council, and the Korea Copyright Commission will host a screening of “Okay Madam 2” on August 12 at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae District, Busan, as part of the “Copyright Culture Day with Movies” event.
This is a collaborative project linking the Korean Film Council’s “Korean Film Revitalization and Regional Cultural Enjoyment Policy” with the Korea Copyright Commission’s “Campaign to Spread Proper Copyright Culture.” The event will invite culturally underserved groups and Busan citizens to share in cultural experiences and the value of creation.
The film “Okay Madam 2” is an investment project of the Film Account of the Mother Fund and was selected for the Korean Film Council’s 2023 Next Project Planning and Development Support Program. The previous film “Okay Madam” was also selected for the same support program, highlighting the significance of the series receiving assistance from the Korean Film Council for both the first and second installments.
Before the screening, a variety of interactive programs will be offered, including a photo booth for audience participation, quizzes related to the support program and copyright, and a copyright consultation booth.
