Studio Euginia, operated by Dongyang, a subsidiary of Eugene Group, has demonstrated its competitiveness as a content production infrastructure by serving as the filming location for director Na Hongjin's new film "HOPE."

View original imageOn July 29, Dongyang announced that Studio Euginia was used as the VFX (visual effects) filming site for director Na Hongjin's film "HOPE."
Studio Euginia has previously been utilized as the filming location for a variety of entertainment programs and dramas, including Netflix’s "Black and White Chef" Seasons 1 and 2, "Crime Scene Zero," "The Devil's Plan 2," MBN's "King of Bread," and tvN's "I AM BOXER." With the filming of "HOPE," the studio has expanded its use to include commercial films requiring large-scale sets and sophisticated visual effects.
VFX filming requires higher standards of space and equipment than ordinary shooting. Essential elements include a large, column-free area and high ceilings to accommodate expansive green and blue screens, a stable power supply system for operating virtual production and precision lighting systems, and air conditioning systems that consistently maintain the filming environment.
Studio Euginia is rated as one of the large studios in Korea capable of VFX filming thanks to features such as an effective ceiling height of approximately 15 meters, a 3,400kW power reception capacity, a large-scale air conditioning system, and an electric baton facility.

An official from Dongyang said, "Studio Euginia has focused on building a multi-content production infrastructure capable of handling large-scale entertainment shows, dramas, and even films," and added, "Based on our specialized production environment and operational expertise, we will continue to lead the domestic content production infrastructure market."
