SAMG Entertainment Launches Integrated Robot IP Brand "MAKINA CORE" to Expand Mechanic Fandom Business
SAMG Entertainment has launched an integrated brand, "MAKINA CORE," that brings together its flagship robot intellectual property (IP), marking a significant expansion into the mechanic content business. The company aims to strengthen its global fanbase business by building a platform that connects content, toys, and fan communities.
The global IP content company, SAMG Entertainment, announced the introduction of its unified brand "MAKINA CORE," which encompasses its lineup of transforming robot IPs.
MAKINA CORE is a brand centered around SAMG Entertainment’s leading mechanic IPs, "Mini Force" and "Metal Card Bot." The core of the strategy is to link content, merchandise, and fan communities into a single platform, leveraging each IP's unique fandom and brand competitiveness.
The brand name combines "Machina"—the home planet of Metal Card Bot—with "Core," symbolizing its central role. Under the slogan "Where Imagined Adventures Begin," the company plans to build a community that enables robot fans across generations to connect and enjoy content together.
The foundation of the integrated brand, Mini Force and Metal Card Bot, are flagship IPs with proven competitiveness in domestic and overseas markets. Mini Force has reached a cumulative 35 billion views, establishing itself as a leading K-hero IP in the Asian market for over ten years. Metal Card Bot, which recently launched its third season, achieved a peak audience rating of 16.4% and reached number one in robot keyword searches on China’s Taobao (excluding generic terms), further cementing its recognition in global markets.
Looking ahead, SAMG Entertainment plans to expand its mechanic business by connecting premium toys and collectible products, digital content, and offline spaces. Through its direct-to-consumer (D2C) online mall, the company will offer limited-edition merchandise and membership services. There are also plans to expand the brand's application to new mechanic IPs and other hobby sectors in the future.
Efforts to strengthen fan engagement will also be stepped up. The official Instagram account will showcase new products and brand stories while running experience programs and participatory fan content. The company is committed to leveraging global platforms such as YouTube and TikTok to broaden its international fan connections.
A SAMG Entertainment official stated, "MAKINA CORE serves as a platform connecting individual robot IPs under one brand, allowing fans to enjoy and interact together. We will continue to grow this as Korea’s leading global mechanic IP brand and create a new multigenerational robot fandom culture."
