The Employee Vacation Support Program is a system where workers deposit 200,000 KRW, and both their companies and the government each provide 100,000 KRW in support, creating a total domestic travel budget of 400,000 KRW. Participating workers can purchase accommodation, attraction admission tickets, and travel products through the dedicated platform 'Vacation Shop'.
This year, cooperation with local governments has been strengthened. According to a business agreement with Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, tourism products in Jeonbuk will be sold at up to 50% off (with a maximum discount of 50,000 KRW) until the 21st of next month. Around 2,000 wellness tourism spots and accommodation products are included in the promotion, such as Gochang Healing Forest and Iksan Wanggung Forest.
Benefits are also provided for family travelers. Until September 23, admission tickets and accommodation products for more than 50 options at 25 recommended destinations nationwide will be discounted up to 50% (with a maximum discount of 50,000 KRW).
Discounts on wellness accommodations are also offered. Until the 14th of next month, a maximum discount of 50,000 KRW is available for 140 wellness facilities across the country, and leisure admission tickets for water parks, amusement parks, and various experience facilities will be sold at up to 20% off (with a maximum discount of 20,000 KRW) until the 28th of the same month.
Further details regarding the promotions can be found on the Employee Vacation Support Program website and at the 'Vacation Shop'.
