HLB BioStep Signs MOU with EcoEnTech for Collaboration on Non-Clinical Primate Testing Services

View original imageAccording to HLB BioStep on July 29, under this agreement, EcoEnTech will conduct non-clinical primate tests and provide HLB BioStep with a diverse range of biological samples—including blood, serum, plasma, and tissue—collected during the testing process. Based on these samples, HLB BioStep will analyze drug concentrations, conduct pharmacokinetic and biomarker assessments, and offer customers both analysis results and comprehensive interpretations.
The two companies plan to collaborate in sales and customer acquisition centered on drug concentration, pharmacokinetic, and biomarker analyses in the non-clinical primate testing sector. They also aim to establish a long-term partnership by expanding joint business opportunities, focusing especially on the Southeast Asian market.
Notably, HLB BioStep has secured exclusive domestic marketing rights for EcoEnTech’s non-clinical primate testing services (specifically pharmacokinetic studies) and plans to actively attract domestic new drug development pipelines. Client companies will be able to access a fully integrated non-clinical testing solution—from primate-based animal testing to biological sample analysis, pharmacokinetic evaluation, biomarker assessment, and result interpretation. By streamlining the entire process, from testing to analysis and interpretation, within a single system, companies are expected to reduce development timelines and enhance efficiency.
