Renault Korea Enters National Police Agency's Multipurpose Patrol Vehicle Market for the First Time

Renault Korea has been selected for the National Police Agency's multipurpose patrol vehicle supply project and will begin expanding its presence in the public sector vehicle market.
Renault Korea announced on July 29 that its Grand Koleos Gasoline 2.0 Turbo 4WD model has been chosen as the replacement vehicle for the 2025 National Police Agency’s multipurpose patrol vehicle pilot project, with a supply of 50 units. In addition, a further 60 units have been selected for supply in 2026.
This marks Renault Korea’s first entry into the annual market for approximately 120 multipurpose patrol vehicles for the National Police Agency. The supply is in line with the agency’s initiative to modernize and diversify its fleet of multipurpose patrol vehicles. The Grand Koleos was selected as the replacement vehicle for the pilot project after receiving high marks in the agency’s preference survey, thanks to its wide range of convenience and safety features and strong product competitiveness.
The Grand Koleos Gasoline 2.0 Turbo 4WD model, selected for this project, features BorgWarner’s sixth-generation all-wheel drive system and an intelligent all-wheel drive system, delivering stable driving performance across diverse road and weather conditions. It is also equipped with six drive modes and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), offering convenience and safety features optimized for field operations.

The 50 vehicles ordered for 2025 have been allocated to police stations nationwide after undergoing specialized police customization and final inspection. Renault Korea has also secured an additional order for 60 vehicles for the 2026 multipurpose patrol vehicle project, with delivery scheduled for completion by December.
