Eunpyeong District Approves Modification of Susaek 8 Redevelopment Project Implementation Plan
Expanded from 578 to 620 households
Additional small-size units secured
Eunpyeong District in Seoul (District Mayor Kim Mikyung) announced on July 29 that it will approve and publicly announce the modification of the project implementation plan for the "Susaek 8 Redevelopment Promotion Zone Housing Redevelopment Project," located at 16-2 Susaek-dong, on July 30.

Eunpyeong District explained that, ahead of the groundbreaking scheduled for the second half of this year, it focused on securing additional small-size units to alleviate the housing cost burden for elderly association members and owners of unauthorized buildings, as well as to increase the resettlement rate of original residents.
Accordingly, the Susaek 8 zone (measuring 29,884 square meters) will be expanded from the originally planned seven buildings with 578 units (underground levels 2 to above-ground level 22) to eight buildings with 620 units (underground levels 3 to above-ground level 29). The zone is located near Susaek Station and Digital Media City (DMC) Station and will feature a design that reflects the nearby Bongsan area's topography.
In accordance with the Susaek·Jeungsan Redevelopment Promotion Plan, public cultural and sports facilities such as the "Eunpyeong Integrated Social Welfare Center" and a "Next-Generation Public Library" are also planned for the zone. Eunpyeong District plans to provide administrative support to ensure a smooth groundbreaking in the second half of this year.
