PionX Secures Liquidity by Selling Non-Core Assets...Plans to Acquire Gwacheon Real Estate
KOSDAQ-listed company PionX (900100) announced on July 28 that it is pursuing an asset restructuring strategy by sequentially selling off non-core assets and overseas real estate that have little direct relevance to its business. The company aims to secure cash liquidity through these sales and utilize the funds to invest in domestic real estate with high growth potential and asset value.
The company plans to focus the capital generated from these asset sales on improving its financial structure, securing a foundation for new business initiatives, and expanding tangible assets. In particular, it intends to strengthen its asset portfolio by acquiring real estate in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, a location regarded as a core area within the Seoul metropolitan area.
Gwacheon is an area expected to see long-term asset value appreciation, supported by its excellent transportation infrastructure and ongoing demand for development. PionX is considering utilizing this property as a strategic hub to enhance corporate value and pursue new business opportunities.
Recently, the company has been consistently streamlining non-business-related assets to improve management efficiency, while focusing the secured liquidity on acquiring future growth engines and investing in high-quality tangible assets as part of its asset management strategy.
A PionX representative stated, "This asset restructuring is not just a simple sale, but a process to lay the foundation for future growth. By converting non-core assets into core assets, we will strengthen financial stability and continually enhance corporate value through the acquisition of prime domestic real estate."
