Jangseong-gun Begins Sowing Autumn Flowers Along Hwangryong River
Autumn Festival Scheduled for Four Days from October 8 to 11
Jangseong-gun announced on the 28th that it has begun sowing autumn flowers on a 79,000-square-meter site along the Hwangryong River and downstream of Jangseong Lake at the Mirak Complex.
This sowing work is being carried out as part of preparations for the autumn festival, which is scheduled to be held for four days from October 8 to October 11.
In the area stretching from the Second Hwangryong Bridge to Munhwa Bridge, an exotic atmosphere will be created with a harmonious blend of familiar autumn flowers such as cosmos and zinnias, along with perennial species like kochia, asters, and Lythrum salicaria.
Key sites such as Hwangmir Land, Seosam Rose Tunnel, and Healing Herb Garden will feature flower beds composed of a total of 12 splendid flower varieties, captivating the eyes of visitors.
Additional ‘photo zones’ will also be created, offering a variety of sights for visitors to enjoy and take memorable photos.

Jangseong County Governor Kim Hanjong stated, “The flowers are expected to begin blooming in late September and reach their peak around October,” adding, “This autumn, I hope you will make happy memories in Jangseong, where the beautiful Hwangryong River meets the fragrant flowers of the season.”
