Collaborating on Medical Dispute Resolution and Prevention of Illegal Acts
The Seoul Regional Bar Association has partnered with the Seoul Association of Korean Medicine Doctors to establish a collaborative system for addressing medical and legal risks.

View original imageOn the 28th, the Seoul Bar Association announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Seoul Association of Korean Medicine Doctors to strengthen mutual cooperation and enhance response to medical and legal risks. Given the recent rise in citizens' awareness of their rights and the ongoing changes in the medical environment leading to increasingly diverse legal issues related to medicine, the two organizations intend to create a joint response system based on their respective expertise and experience.
Attendees at the signing ceremony included Cho Sunyeol, President of the Seoul Bar Association; Kim Giwon, Senior Vice President of the Seoul Bar Association; Kim Sujin, Vice President of the Seoul Bar Association; Jin Shiho and Yang Yunseop, General Affairs Directors of the Seoul Bar Association; Park Sungwoo, President of the Seoul Association of Korean Medicine Doctors; Kim Minsu and Kwak Dowon, Vice Presidents of the Seoul Association of Korean Medicine Doctors; and Kim Dodam, Director of Planning and Legislation of the Seoul Association of Korean Medicine Doctors.
Under this agreement, the two organizations plan to form an expert talent pool for mutual consultation, jointly host educational programs, special lectures, and seminars related to current issues to enhance expertise. They will also work together on collaborative projects such as developing reasonable solutions for resolving medical disputes, preventing illegal acts in medical and legal service fields, and protecting specialized professions.

The Seoul Bar Association stated that, based on this agreement, it plans to maintain continuous communication with the Seoul Association of Korean Medicine Doctors and pursue a variety of projects aimed at promoting citizens' rights and realizing the public interest.
